Does anyone know when semester 1 results are released by QUT?? There's no info anywhere (I've also checked emails several times). I miss UQ already.

They get released when they are done. ;P

Another question - do you (or does anyone else) know how they work out grades at QUT? All I can find are some vague descriptions set aside for each grade (c.f. UQ where it's 85% for a 7, 75% for a 6, etc). Thanks in advance for any help.

You results with come bundled with a copy of Duke Nukem Forever.

47-49% = 3 if they still have them.
50-64% = 4
65-74% = 5
74-84% = 6
85-100% = 7

Although it says the 7th they will most likely be online on the 6th at some stage.

The 7th is from the calender, results are usually released on a Monday. However, past experience shows that they are available on-line the Sunday before the scheduled Monday - so this semester means it will be the 6th.

Those percentages only work if your subjects aren't bell curved.

Most subjects aren't bell curved as for some reason student results tend to follow a normal distribution just fine.
