Topic: TF2 Question : Backing Up Achievment Progress?

Started playing TF2 at work sometimes, just curious if theres a way to transfer achievement progress from home to work, & back again.

And yes I know when I login at work it remembers my "Completed achievements", but not ones where its say "64/100" for Pyro's "Hot Potato" Achievement (for today at work it was at 0/100"

I've been copying the contents of the "\team fortress 2\tf\cfg" directory as I originally thought the "user.scr" file contained that info, but just realised it does not.

& I just checked the "tf2_playerstats.dmx" file in the "tf" directory & thats just a text file that contains your best efforts for each class.

I thought that info would be stored on the valve servers. Oh well. Just copy your whole tf2 folder?

It remembered all that stuff for me between work and home. I think something screwy is happening for you.

yea it doesnt save progress only saves completed ach's

just make an incremental backup batch script for whole steam folder to a removable drive.

does this mean you can make a trainer that sets your achievements locally as 99/100 and then you just hop on a server and get the bonus after a few games?
