The latest steam update has altered the medic achievements:

Reduced Medic's unlockable requirements to match that of the Pyro's. Medic players now meeting the requirements will receive their unlockables shortly after joining a server

That means the medic unlocks come at 10, 15, and 20 achievements, so go play a game of TF2 and you might find a nice new weapon to play with.

fukn sweet, I only ever got the first achievement for the medic, it was too boring to get all the other ones

Just found out about TF2blog if anyone hasn't.

I found the easiest way to get the achievements without asking chub (ask chub) is to start your own server and add in some bots to the slaughter. I had pretty much all pyro achievements in about 15 minutes.

You mean 10, 16, 22? I'm sitting on 15 and just short of my second weapon.

Also I still can't get the "uber two team-mates simultaneously" achievement. I can give 3 team-mates the uber glow and still no achievement! Is there more to it?

The Milestone achievements don't count, as they're essentially an extra one once you hit the number required.

Have two team mates standing next to each other and click the s*** out of your mouse for the full uber alternating between both team mates.

The Milestone achievements don't count

In theory it seems silly to count them but the full 10/16/22 count is what's displayed in-game in the Milestones as well as in the drop-down combo box. No point creating an arbitrary metric (i.e. minus the milestones) when it takes more effort to explain it than just using what's displayed:

That's exactly what I've done so many times, frantically clicking between people.

No effect. I'll do it for the full uber then.

EDIT: Ok it finally randomly worked 3 seconds into the uber after several more attempts.

yeah got that new needle gun nothing to make a song and dance about.

Finally, I was wondering how long it was going to take them to do that. I thought that was the best part of the Pyro pack. And a lot of the medic ones are fairly ridiculous, so the only way to get them all was to grind with your friends, which goes against the point to me.

they really need to be releasing all the remaining class updates at once, to stop people farming/servers full of the same class.

Hmm, so I only need 3 more achieves to get the ubersaw now, neato.

Had medic pack 1, joined a server and got 2 and 3 straight away :D

heh i need 2 more just to get the first milestone. i need other players to get the rest of the achievements.

has anyone discovered through looking at the tf2 files what the next class is thats getting unlocks?
