I just checked out the Wikipedia article and noticed that Okami Wii came out yesterday.
If you don't know what Okami is: Set in an unspecified period of classical Japanese history, Ōkami combines several Japanese myths, legends and folklore to tell the story of how the land was saved from darkness by the Shinto sun goddess, named Amaterasu, who has taken the form of a white wolf. It features a distinct sumi-e-inspired cel-shaded visual style and the Celestial Brush, a gesture-system to perform miracles. It was originally released on the PS2 but has been ported to the Wii. If you like Zelda games then go get this, its supposedly very similar in game play to zelda. Go Get it. |

What don't you like about zelda games?
I forgot to mention something which is pretty funny. It seems like the cover-image for the Okami game was pulled directly from IGN. Kotaku has something about it, you can just make out the IGN logo. At first I didn't believe it until I found out that Capcom had a Cover Art Redemption "Promotion". The new covers are much better than the normal one. Of course PAL guys got screwed over with no promotion and standard cover. |

What don't you like about zelda games? It really just wasn't my thing: too much running around trying to do stuff instead of intense action or GOOD puzzles. Zelda on Wii was the first Zelda I'd played, so I guess I was playing it as "just a game" rather than as part of a series, which I'm sure made me enjoy it less than someone who played Zelda from a young age. |

I can understand why Twilight Princess wasn't fun for some people, even zelda fans like myself. The game was fun but it lacked a lot of things like content in the open fields.
Okami on the other hand is supposed to be jam packed with stuff to do. Wait till ausgamers reviews the game. That was fixed before it went to print. Yeah you're right, I thought it had made it past the printing stage. |
