Oh cool... I guess I would have enjoyed seeing Paul Dempsey.

The Living End are playing... Their new song is unbelievably awesome.

suck f***ing s***, this is what they get for cramming twice as many people in to each event year after year, people get sick of it and are only willing to go when there is some incredible lineup that has to be out done year after year

eat a cock BDO organisers !@ (unrelated to splendour)

I can honestly say, Bliss N Eso are the only people in that line up I've heard of.

Agreed.
All these people saying they were going before the first lineup was announced.. i don't get it.. perhaps its the 'cool' place to be... my personal opinion is.. it's a waste of money, the lineup is average, and most people seem to be going only to get 'f***ed up' ... which is a lame reason to go to a festival (and a more expensive way of getting loose!)

There are some good bands, but certainly nothing that would have encouraged me to go.

Right - Polyphonic Spree are amazing live. If you go you must see them, even if it is only for a little while. 20+ people on stage, perfect band for Splendour. I saw them at BDO a few years ago, almost wept.

Lyrics Born & Hadouken! defo worth seeing. A mate of mine over here hosted a gig for Even a few weeks back, they sounded sharp as ever. E.L.F is Darren from Gerling's solo project - from all reports it's not too bad.

You don't buy tickets in hope the 2nd lineup is going to be good, because it is usually always s*** like this.

Bandwagoning with taggs, people who can't appreciate a good festival have either:
a) never been to one
b) have only been to big day lol
c) listen to b105 and nova, also tying in to option a)

Not too bad, Sigur Ros, The Panics, Band of Horses, Van She. Should be ok. It's cool going to a festival and seeing some of the smaller acts that you normally wouldn't get a chance to see or get lost amongst all the big name bands :)
