with a vengeance!
Link Adobe Flash contains a vulnerability that may allow an attacker to run code on a system that has a vulnerable version of the Flash player installed. There are reports that this vulnerability is being actively exploited. Make sure you are using the newest version of Flash (9.0.124.0) |

Use this link to tell what version you have installed:
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507 Should be 9,0,124,0 |

Yeah the moment I heard about this a couple days back, I immediately installed Flashblock so I wouldn't be viewing flash objects unless I wanted to. Has a whitelist too so your favourite sites (ie: here) can still get phat banner lootz.
Though I'm liking the plugin in general. Unnecessarily multimedia-infested websites don't waste my time or quota as much :) Your Player Version: WIN 9,0,124,0 Ok, looks like I have nothing to worry about. I don't actually remember updating this, ever. last edited by parabol at 10:41:17 30/May/08 |

Yeh I have Flash disabled by default but use it occasionally for youtubes, etc. Its amazing how much nicer life is without it generally on the web.

I always found NoScript to be much more trouble than it's worth *shrug*

Has a whitelist too so your favourite sites (ie: here) I'd like a "friendly" list option truth be told Banner thinks it's been played, reports back as being displayed an viewed yet I never have to see it. Site I like gets its sponsorship/kickback, an I don't have to put up with annoying s***. |
