Just got a nokia N95 and installed the software. It trys to update and says vista isnt supported. Is this some kind of Finlandish joke the dumb Aussies don't get?
Also, anyone know of any cool apps to stick on it? |

Updater software works for me, I'm on Vista Ultimate x64.
Install LightSabre, Google Maps, and emTube. Great apps. |

I got offered one of these for free if I re-sign my 24 month contract. Do they have wireless internets? Also, they look f***ing MASSIVE. Don't think I want to carry that around in my pocket...

I don't use mine for anything except calls and sms :/ I didn't even know you could load stuff onto it.
They're not that big BillyH. Mine crashes and resets itself all the time though. I still prefer crappy phones to fancy ones. |

I didn't bother suggesting any games or emulators, simply because phones are a c*** to play games on.

n95 <3
grab this - joikuspot turns your n95 into a wireless access point, this would have been off the hook when we were all 13 at QGL |

I got myself the N95 a few weeks ago, no hassles setting the software up. It's a great phone.

Jeebus that's an awesome program teq.
I've been looking for a way to share the net from my N95 to my laptop but Three claims that they only let you via the USB cable and only when on X-Series, but this works perfectly and with so much less hassle! Many many thanks for that! |

DivX Player is pretty good.
If you exercise, the SportTracker program is a fun novelty. Tracks your run/walk/cycle via GPS, has a lap count, and when you're finished it can upload and overlay it on a google map. Others can log in and do your run and try and better your time. There's a cool new app for the N95 where, if your phone rings on the desk, you simply flip it over face down and it silences the phone call. It uses the 'Accelerometer' (their word not mine) to detect phone movement. But the software is still beta and paid. When it leaves beta it'll be free (crazy, I know). But there are quite a few new apps coming out that use this accelerometer. |

That program is called "Shutup" and it's free, you just have to sign it yourself.
