Hey guys I finally got a copy of crysis and I cant stand how s***ty it looks on my old pc, so really I want to know what spec machine using XPsp3 could run it at full detail with at least 30fps.
Also Im already up to the core level where the guy goes "im heading into some kind of chamber, what is this place" and im stuck in there.. where the hell do I go? |

you could probably spend as little as $700 for a machine to play crysis these days
$1000 buys you a nice dual core box with a few extras dualcore 3g decent mobo 2 gig of ram 1 x hd (although they are so cheap, buy two and raid them) 1 x 8800gt = cysis happy time although if you want to play crysis, time to ditch xp so you can take advantage of directx 10 |

although if you want to play crysis, time to ditch xp so you can take advantage of directx 10 Ahah whatever. All those extra DX10 'features' can be turned on in DX9 anyway, it's been discussed to death in the past. |

Spend a tiny bit more and get a 9800GTX card. When I tried playing crysis on my old 8800GTS it ran like a two dollar hooker.

would it be worth while going SLI?For Crysis, sure. Honestly you're better off toning down the detail, play the game through and be done with it. It's a waste of money upgrading for such a s*** game. You'll be lucky to get 1 weeks worth of gaming out of it. |

I enjoyed the 3 days or so I leisurely finished the single player in, but ya.
I'm still waiting for mechwarrior legends :/ |
