I've bought the odd flight in my day, and once i went through STA travel and they asked "am i a student or under 26" i said i was, but my mate wasnt. no dramas, got the flights, done.
Now, looking at booking a multi stop trip home. Its £1000 cheaper if i say im a student. Will they ask for ID this time? Is it worth the risk? Once I have the ticket, the airlie just needs passport / ticket, no proof of student. Take the punt? |

especially since you're a foreigner (and it's such a huge discount) you'll need to provide an isic student or under 26 card, but if you can get the tickets bought without it, the tickets will be printed and you don't need to show the card later (have you ever seen/heard of anyone lining up at checkin being asked for student id?). should have enrolled in qtac first semester then dropped out before hecs census date.
