Hey guys.
Just got a new 32" Plasma TV in the bedroom, running it in clone mode with my PC monitor. Opened up a movie on my pc using winamp and it will show everything but the actual movie itself on the tv. Opened up some games, games run fine on it, but the movie itself wont appear, the winamp buttons etc are all there. So i tried media player and quicktime player. Fail on all 3. Any suggestions? I'm using S-Video at the moment for output from box to tv. *edit* Just tested You Tube etc - all work fine. Sad Panda. Thanks :( |

Bloody Macrovision.
Strange that Winamp doesn't work, this has traditionally been the only app that's worked in this manner for me. |

Make the TV the main monitor and then clone the computer monitor.
Or extend the desktop onto the TV and drag the movie accross. had the same problem AGES ago with S-Video, not sure but I think thats how I fixed it. Also check refresh rates? I dunno |

god i'm a nub. Right click on your winamp video display, select video options then UN-Tick allow hardware video overlay. Now it works, and i'm super excited. Thanks guys ;) |
