On one hand someone told me vampire weekend and prodigy.

But on the other hand, I heard metallica, tool, fear factory, daft punk and led zeppelin

I'll go if mongie is there.

And if air, beastie boys, presets, franz ferdinand, PJ Harvey, electric six and depeche mode are there at the same time.

Edit: ok... thanks for deleting post.

where did you hear those rumors? some of them don't really seem to be found anywhere else and jurassic 5 broke up last year i'm pretty sure... cut chemist was just doing shows in bris with dj shadow because they're all doing solo projects now.

check these two links for the line ups for Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic, two japanese festivals which are on before splendour and historically have tended to be fairly good indicators of who we will see.

Jurassic 5 are definately not playing, they broke up. Franz Ferdinand haven't got anything new to flog (nor do Beasties) so unlikely you'll see them.

I reckon The Go! Team would be the only definites I've seen so far.

Air, Presets and Dizzee Rascal could be maybes as well. MC5 played there a few years ago, so would seriously doubt they would come back. It seems like a lot of your list involve people who have already been...

If Devo come, beg, steal or borrow to get your arse there. I saw them play Livid back in 97 - amazing.

reckon! not many live bands put on a crazy performance as well as play thier hits.. i wasn't a huge devo fan in the 80s but i was pretty impressed with thier zany gig at livid in 97 :D tricky would be cool to see as well... depesh mode though... lols.

Holy crap, The Music are coming. Haven't heard anything from those guys in ages - they are definitely worth a look.

And yeah, Sigur Ros will be amazing, especially in that sort of setting.

What a hopeless lineup

I'd like to see how much they are spending on bands this year in comparison to previous years
