its about to get 'warmer' here, f***ing finally

www.oxegen.ie

The Prodigy, Panic at the Disco, The Feeling, DJ Koze, Kaz James (Bodyrockers) and Crookers are all set to play at OXEGEN 2008 where they'll be joining R.E.M., The Verve, Rage Against The Machine, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, The Fratellis, Interpol, Chemical Brothers, Counting Crows, Stereophonics, The Raconteurs, Ian Brown, Hot Chip, Justice, Aphex Twin, Band Of Horses, Seasick Steve, The Courteeners, Future Kings Of Spain and Alabama 3.

That's the line up so far and there are plenty more to be added, it's a 3 day music festival that I'm going to :D

Also Muse are headlining the V-Festival in the UK so I am defo going there!

I want to go to Reading as well - http://www.readingfestival.com/ though no acts announced just yet

Should hopefully be an awesome 'summer'!!

dude make the effort and spend 4 hours wading to the front for rage. It's so worth it.
although I noticed in Belgium (dunno about other euro countries) but the festival crowd was so tame compared to a BDO. Polite mofos
but then they get s***faced and yell stuff out all night at the campsite
:/

reload yeah noticed that at a number of concerts I've been to in Ireland, Scotland, London & Paris no f***er really moshes they just all stand about and sort of shuffle side to side if anything, very, very relaxed - hell even at Metallica at Wembley not many were jumping about.... odd

I have never seen so many freaks in my life than at global gathering. 3 day rave in strafield apon avon (england), absolutely epic lineup.. i had to make a choice between seeing carl cox, pendulum & paul van dyke which put me into such a dillemna my head nearly popped.

Wasnt as muddy as glastonbry, but still had rivers of mud through the campsites. Looked like a tip site by the end of the weekend, people just left there tents and s*** there and the blew down along the runway like tumble weeds.

Best thing about straya, is the festivals arnt all 6inch's deep in mud!

Meh, out of that lineup I'd only be seeing ratm again. This on the other hand http://www.wacken.com/en/woa2008/main-bands/billing-2008/ is the kind of line-up we'll never see in Australia.

Might try and get over for a few this year, my Summer is looking a lot less busy work-wise this year (so far)
I might go and work a few here though.
The reading festival looks promising and i know a place i can crash at ... sure she won't mind at all ;)
