been looking around some shops for a 360 premium package but the cheapest i can seem to find it is 588, anyone bought or seen 1 cheaper anywhere?

Thought it may have been Dick Smith Electronics I saw it in but I checked online and their xbox 360's are $538.

I got one last year (360 that is, not a Playstation), and it's been absolutely fine. You wouldn't know it's refurbished at all, it even comes completely factory sealed. If it didn't say 'refurbished' on the box, you'd never even know. Still comes with the year of warranty too.

not sure tbh, you'd have to go for a look. and see whats written on the box.

i think the headset only came with the 12month gold live starter kit and thats separate.

just looked on big w website... only cause the palgn thing finished this week and bigw_xbox it could be the the sub 500$ was an arcade xbox... :( but according to the site, there are some bundles still... just about 579$...

Did Microsoft get busted a few months ago for selling refurbished 360's as new?

lol went to eb today they were selling refurbished ones for 399 pro, i was gonna get it but they were sold out. said microsoft got smashed during christmas and sold all there 360. not expected to get any for another 2 weeks..

Tell ya what, over Xmas every time I went anywhere that sold 360s I saw people lining up with them. I was at JBs once and I was in the line and the next two people behind me both were buying 360s.

The arcane bundle has no hard drive, so if you intend to download any downloadable content or demos or anything, add the cost of a hard drive to the cost of that bundle.

As for RRoD...the solders on the GPU are heated in an attempt to refuse them back onto the motherboard.

If done correctly it usually works.

I am the DVD/Games manager @ JB Hi Fi Toowoomba, and i know we have them Pro consoles (20gb hdd etc) with Forza2 and viva pinata games for $537.00

You can then trade in those 2x games and get like $20-$30 (dont quote me on that price) off a game you actually want, if u dont want those.
