God I feel so cliche asking this question but... cleared your browser cache and cookies?

doing that now

checking the error logs, getting lots of this

"Error in parsing value for property "display" declaration dropped;

clearing cookies and cache didnt fix it;

im guessing its definatley something to do with the above error, gonna track that down

also, for eds;

i havent reinstalled windows in years, its a bodge copy and i couldnt fix ie6, so i had to get firefox

but see all the trouble its caused me!?!??!

Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'display'. Declaration dropped.

No, you just pity the people who waste their time arguing about which browser is better, thinking that other people care what they have to say.

So you're saying any argument is futile?

Maybe if you don't want to learn anything, ever.

There's a lot of good reasons to use Firefox; in my mind the number one is that its open source. I've used opera, and its good, but for me there's more compelling reasons to use Firefox and the open source is a big factor - I've spent a lot of time explaining to people why in order to try to educate them as to the benefits of open source software.

I've had no problem learning, without preaching my browser preference to anyone else.
