I recall a little while back that someone was having troubles with their connection, and it ended up being the fact that he had his max connections / max peers per torrent set too high in their torrent client.
Lately I've been getting s***house pings in TF2 (spiking from 50 - 300 every 30 seconds), and I figured that it would be due to my housemate and I's torrent settings (even though we're not maxing out our bandwidth, or even coming close, we both have torrent clients running in the background). Can someone give me a brief rundown on what those settings should be around? Cheers. |

whats your pipe size and uploads set to?
my utorrent is set to 800 connections and 125 max peers and i can play tf2 with no dramas; (iinet adsl2) |

We have our uploads capped to about 20k/s each. I'm on TPG ADSL2+.
