Just wondering if it is possible to use my favourite FTP client to download demos.

I tried to download one using it today but it continually errored. I can download it using IE7 but it isnt the best way of course.

If it is allowed - which the rules appear to say is the case - how, please? I copied the URL of the demo I wanted and my FTP client went straight to it but couldnt get Ausgamers to send it.
