I just picked up the Fallout Collection (1, 2 and Tactics) for $20 yesterday.
I've loaded Fallout 1 onto the computer and the intro cut-scenes play fine, but when it gets to gameplay and/or menu screens it goes s***ty monochrome/farked up colours and I'm unable to play. Does anybody have any suggestions? I assume some people here play older games. The box says Windows XP, DX7 are fine. I tried running it in compatibility mode, 640 res and 256 colours but it did the same thing :( |

I had similiar things happen when playing Starcraft on Vista, the menu and cut-scenes would be all technicolour wierdness. No idea what the fix is though.

Also, it some video cards simply can't do 256 colour mode properly anymore, which is f***ing with a few people who wanna play a bit of StarCraft again.
