I wanna spend around $60 for a DVD-R burner that can also burn images on the flip sides yo.

why lightscribe? the ip series of canon inkjets that print on cdr can be picked up from even big W for sub $200 and do great prints + u aren't tieing up your burner scribing.

I have an Artline 700 slim tip that does the trick.

I have one of these printers and I agree, decent looking prints. I'm just wondering though, if a printed cd and a lightscribed cd both get wet, would the lightscribed label hold up better? Which one is more durable in the long run?

i've read somewhere that lightscribed labels will fade a little during the 6 or so months.... but i'm pretty sure it won't run when wet

but how easy is it to get lightscribe compatible media these days?
