Isn't this just a problem with the stand? My video card (7600GT) can rotate the screen 90'

Also I have the Acer AL2216W (same panel as BenQ) and I must admit, having 22 inches is definetly alot more fun than a little 19' or 15.4' on my notebook. I could only imagine what a 24' would be like (GIMPYS MUM DOESNT NEED TO IMAGINE THOUGH)

yeah, i've got one sitting beside me that my friend let me use while he's away. it lasted about 3 days before i swapped it back for my 19" lcd (benq too) because i didn't like the colour and contrast of that particular screen. my sister has it at work too, and she doesn't like it either

From what I can tell there are only 2 categories of vesa mounts.. budget, consumer grade ones which are good for monitors less than 19"... or industrial/commercial grade ones which cost $$$. Gunna do some more checking around.

You could make a redneck stand out of an old XXXX (or VB) gold carton

I have an Asus 22" and I <3 it. Stupid power lcd bleeds a little bit onto the scren though, barely noticable.

my only gripe with my samsung 226 is that they went to all the trouble of a nice opaque black casing to resist backlight bleed & then put this f***off bright blue led in the power button :/

oh.. & my vidcard is now too s*** to run most games in the lcd's native res :P

What prices are you guys looking at? Cheapest I can find for it is $329.00 (ex).

This is for the BENQ FP222W.

it's a really light touch button :/ i tried a bit of tape but it still turns the lcd off... i just put something in front of it.
