i have a game here that was released in 1997 and hence, runs in windows 95

i mount the image in daemon tools, and it says 'runs in windows 95' so i explore the image and it has some exe's etc and try making them run in windows 95 compatability mode, but it doesn't seem to be working

am i doing this right?

You need to go in the cd and then right click the setup file and then click properties. Then check run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 95 or Windows 98. After installing the game go to start menu--programs--capcom--resident evil-- right click the resident evil executable and set the compatibility mode for Windows 95 or Windows 98.

Hope it helps...

i have tried that, it comes up with some error but i'm unable to read it

i open task manage and close the error and it starts the install process but closes it all down like 20 seconds later
