3am Brisbane time:
Pakistan 103/7 (30.2 ov) (against Ireland) India 174/9 (47.3 ov) (against Bangladesh) An Irish win may be enough for them to go through to the next round depending on what the Zims do, and would also mean Pakistan would be out. And a Bangladesh win would make the India v Sri Lanka game huge. Also Scotland may have just robbed France of the 6 Nations crown. |

Holy s***! India all out 191 and Pakistan 8/124. Bangladesh and Ireland are a previously unlikely chance here.

Update:
India 191 (49.3 ov) Bangladesh 146/3 (35.0 ov) Pakistan 132 (45.4 ov) Ireland 47/2 (16.4 ov) India's attack is pretty impotent. They really need to be attacking as much as possible as their only way of winning will be to bowl the Bangas out. It's been a while since they have shown anything on the tele from the other game, but from the looks of it the Pakis aren't completely out of it. Still, they are another team struggling with an under strength bowling attack, so I still reckon the Irish will get that one. Wins for Ireland + Bangladesh are both good for Aus. It will get rid of Pakistan at least and puts one nail in the coffin of India. |

If both the Paki's and Indians lose i may go to cricket training tomorrow just to give crap to all the sub-continent players in our team. Worth a few hours break from work :)

Haha :)
I work with 2 Bangladeshis, an Indian, a Pakistani and a Sri Lankan. It makes for a lot of cricket chat. But yes, tomorrow I think the Bangladeshis are going to be having a field day with the Indian guy :) |

Ireland just copped the WORST decision you will ever see. Botha given out caught at short square leg off a ball that flew off the outside of his front leg. His bat was on the inside, but a good half a foot away from the ball. If they lose because of that they can feel extremely hard done by.
Bangas about to win! |

Rain in the Ireland v Pakistan game, but Ireland are ahead on D/L.
Some very funny commentary on the game at: http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/wc2007/engine/current/match/247465.html |

Ireland copped a very poor decision from the Umpire...after being handed a gift Not-Out earlier for an LBW appeal.
It all evens out. The important thing is that Ireland will likely win this game, and Pakis will almost certainly be going home early. This ultimately removes a threat to the Australian campaign. :D (of course, NZ will be one of the finalists :/ ) |

Man I hate being in the wrong timezone and not having it on free to air. I didn't even know it had STARTED until after it had happened.

Holy crap, what a way to win. 6 from the biggest batting bunny you have ever seen.
Sucks to be Pakistan - some teams have only just played their first game and already they are out of the tournament! Are Ireland the Senegal from the football world cup of 2002? |

the banga win isn't that surprising.
They are getting better and better, have a fantastic attack and have now knocked over both the Kiwis and Indians inside a week. The Irish team is full of Sydney first grade players, so they're not newbies either. Couple of them have played for NSW |

So was that the game that pushed the pakistani coach over the edge, and caused him to off himself?
