THE producers of The Sopranos were denied a permit to film in a North Jersey town because the Mayor and some city council members say the acclaimed HBO series negatively depicts Italian-Americans.

Sopranos film in Nu-Yoik and are going over to jersey to film some shiz and people are complaining about the negative image it puts over Italian-Americans. Jesus Christ these c***s need to get off my planet. Man, I watch cops and see blacks constantly getting arrested for various crack related crimes, however I know that they got plenty of rappers and basketball players in America so they can't all be doing crack.

while i never watched the sapranos, i would think this would be like filming 'the shield' somewhere where noone would feel offended... like a desert.
