ok, what you realy need to do is, do a whois and find the registar, hopefully its melbourne IT, then fill out the form requesting to get the registry key, then you will be able to manage the domain and transfer the account directly to melbourne IT so you can change the nameservers.

Had do do the exact same thing just today.

If the registar is not melbourne IT ,I assume they will have a smililar form to get he registry key.

MelbourneIT are the most painful pricks to deal with, I ended up losing a domain because of them.

Then it's pretty much just a matter of retrieving the registry key from the current registrar

You dont pay melbourne it anything, Its just that they are the registar for most domains registered in australia, even if it is through a reseller.

i just did this the other day. you can request the registry key and lookup the host. then transfer it to whoever you want. it was quite easy.
