There are no real words to express the loss, so I would simply welcome everybody to Dale's website.

At the present moment it is a memorial to Dale, where you can listen to his songs, view some pics, add to the guestbook, join Dale's cancer forum, or donate to some of his favourite charities. It will evolve over the next few days, so I would ask a little patience if you encounter a page under construction or any errors.

Come and participate in the celebration of a special man's life, a young man who had more courage than I could truly describe with mere words. We invite you to add your comments or experiences to the guestbook for everybody to keep. Commit your thoughts to Dale's site, and be assured that they are a lot of comfort to family and friends alike. Dale has touched so many lives, and his family are overwhelmed by the love shown by so many people. Come and joins us in saying goodbye to a very special person.

because he wasnt my immedite family i cant get time of to go ... so i will have to pay my respects at the RE .

Alot of the bigger work places have 1 or 2 days a year of compassionate leave, if you are having trouble getting time off, check your contract to see if you have this type of leave.

fairly sure bereavement leave is part of all awards, etc

Bereavement leave is generally only for family though.

I'd say two and a half to three.

Yeah Maryborough is about 3 hours. About an hour or so past Gympie. It's a fairly easy drive and you will be going against traffic.

I won't be there, But I really want to wish Mav's family the best in these hard times, My Thoughts are definatley with you guys,

I really wish i could make it, unfornatually i'm running an event through my own company tomorrow (one of only 8 per year - bad timing) so i'm unable to get the time away from work. My toughts will be with Mav & his family & friends tomorrow without a doubt. Farewell champ.
