the police were cool... back in 1979 :D i reckon you'd be a lot less disappointed by watching some of thier old filmclips on youtube than seeing them live after not having played for 23 years.

Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that.

i can't remember how many times i have cranked up the police's greatest hits after a hard night on the piss in the wee hours of the morning. always satisfies.

I dunno, some old bands sounds pretty good when they dust off the cobwebs and have a bit of a bash - eagles were surpisingly good

sting has been pretty active with vocals all along too, I haven't heard him the last couple of years but last time I checked he still sounded pretty good - and the vocals are probably the main thing when an old band regroups

Considering the first clip was the produced music on the albumn and the second was live they are sounding pretty schmick, sounds like he can't hit the high notes without his voice croaking though.
