Still doesn't show a great deal except it seems most of the movie will be focused around homer (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). btw, don't let the beginning of the trailer fool you, it is the simpsons trailer. With any luck it'll be a vast improvement on the last seven seasons of the series.

Yeah cause that really deviates from regular Simpsons episodes :)

Homer on the big screen will be worth the ticket alone.

they are going to make so much money out of this.

This movie will either be crap, alright or awesome. Season 18 has been s*** so far except for the latest ep I reckon so they better have someone writing the script that knows how to be funny.

at first i was a bit iffy about a simpsons movies but after watching the new trailer it looks freaken sweet.

Haha all of them look hilarious.

All the colour etc looks sweet.

Heaps better than on tele.

i watched teh strangers with candy moofie over teh weekend, after loving the tv show and the movie was totally forgettable

why bother?!

hopefully it wont be the case with teh simpsons

Which kinda makes a mockery of their initial pitch in the first teaser trailer.

Claiming they don't use CGI - yes they do! I'm not really a fan of CG-as-Cel animation. But I guess it saves money and time.

The teaser trailers never claimed it wasn't CG..just that the movie was in "2D"..

In any case it's just appears to be a slightly higher level of animation a la Futurama.

simpsons does use some CGI, certainly not as much as Futurama with its spaceships and cool flythrough scenes - the major innovation in the last few years was digital colouring, it does look somewhat less cel-y but that is progress for you
