Just got the email that 24 season 6 trailer airs 24 October and ep1 airs Jan 14: so who's excited?

i'm not, but i want to be
if i started watching now am i going to be completely lost?

i watched season 1 through 5 in 2-3 weeks. what a crazy time of heart attack hardcoreness that was
watching one a week will seem so slow. still watch it tho will be awesum

If I was going to recommend starting from anywhere later in the shows life (and I have), I would recommend starting from Season 4. Seasons 4, 5 and 6 tie heavily in with eachother. Warning though, my friends that starting watching from season4 , once finished with season5 went straight back and watched the first 3 seasons because they were totally hooked.

I did the same thing. Season 1 in about 2 days, and the rest in just a few weeks. The show becomes infinitely more awesome the more episodes you watch back-to-back.

That's quite a feat considering that regular shows usually have plot holes that are obvious after a couple of episodes, while 24 can remain consistent for most of the season.

I believe he has died twice so far.

he only died temporarily. jack doesn't die permanently.

i had a mate that finally started watching with season 5. He loved it. He had to guess a few things that must've happened earlier, but they are insignificant compared to the awesomeness of just being able to watch.

If you have time start with Season 1. If not, just watch S5. If not, just get excited in January and start watching from s6e1. There'll probably be a 30second 'previously' bit at the start that will explain everything you need to know.

I also did a 24'athon watching season 1 -5 in like 2 weeks, it is the most addictive show. Ive done a bit of research and keifer sutherland has signed on for another 3 seasons of 24 after season 5. So we can look forward to plenty more jack bauer kick ass action.

Apparently the Asians kill Jack about 3 eps in and his daughter takes over.

I love this show.

I am excited, easily top5 best show on TV, jack bauer is up with best TV character (equal with tony soprano and larry david)

They really need to stop with these "OMG Jack Bauer's gunna die1!eleven" type of ads (during the seasons, and in these previews). Kiefer is contracted for one more season after this one. He's the main character on the show. He's not gunna die until the end. Until then, just stop it.

Trailer looks interesting. Suicide bombers terrorising smaller American cities? Great idea.

actually he has signed on for 3 (three) more seasons so expect a season 6, 7 and 8

nah that was the sentinal, i dont believe there will be a 24 movie

i swear there was a posto n qgl months back about a 24 movie that was actually going to be 12 hours long or some s*** for dvd only.

last time i looked a 24 movie was planned.
