It's interesting how they develop the 'heroes' powers..

Ep 3 was damn awesome I reckon and the end was very cool with the chicky babe in the morgue. I hope the series gets alot darker as it goes on as well which hopefully it will with that psycho running around and cutting people heads open. So glad it's nothing like a normal super heroes tv show.

Hey rev - Are you thinking that Peter's (think that's the nurses name) power is that he can 'use other people's powers' ?

I mean he could fly when he was around his brother/his brother touched him and but then he couldn't..
And he could see the future (I think - he could suddenly draw well and has the premonition of him flying) after he touched the painter/was around the painter...

Ali Larters I'm thinking she either has a split personality/multiple personality disorder and her alternative personality knows about her 'powers'.
Or it's a 'hulk' type thing, orrrrr it could be that her mirror image comes out and there's two of her that go 'hulk styes' and rampage s*** up :)

As for Ali Larter I was thinking maybe she has a doppleganger but that's not really a power. I dunno wtf is up with her. Seems whenever she's in a bad situation she blacks out, something happens then poeple are dead and stuff's been changed. Can't wait for the next ep.

You've gotta admit, teh first episode was pretty damn lame. This opinion was of course shattered by the third episode. I think the show's only flaw is that it kinda 'dumbs down' for yanks, with the whole "you're living on your brother's shadow thing" and "just wanting to be normal cheerleader" thing, I think the show could have been better if this was demonstrated to us by good character development and acting.

whats wrong with the character development and or acting? so far it has been pretty much ALL character development what with them finding out their powers and such. anyway...it looks like there will be 3 episodes next week! :D

I want to be in the Hiro fan club. Heroes is worth watching for his scenes alone, although it's still a fantastic show. After the first episode I kept saying "Mister Isaak Mendez?"

The actor who plays him, Masi Oka, is also a digital artist who has worked on several blockbuster films.

Awesome show.

Things that make me happy:

Masi Oka as doomly otaku.
Masi Oka is also Franklyn in Scrubs.
Masi Oka is also a digital effects artist whose works include Ep I/II/II of Star Wars and the second Pirates of the Carribbean movie.

There need be no other reason to watch this show. Still I prefer him as spasticated stumbling Hiro than smooth suave goatied samurai Hiro.

I was checking out his IMDB entry, he's also a writer too, he's a busy boy

God damn American tv. Ep 12 of Heroes doesn't come out until 22 January.

They were probably blocking his powers in some way (glasses dude said "your powers wont work in here"), but the chick turned off that blocker so she could use hers on him? And as soon as she tried he realised he could just use his powers on her.

The black guy was off smoking some whole nother other shiz and forgot to protect the girl.
Peter is dead and claire will go into the angst/depression stage and then release it by becoming a cage fighter.

Pretty decent spin on things at the end of Ep 11. If Peter really does go into nuke-meltdown when he's in the same area as all the others it puts some real urgency onto the 'Syler' (sp) situation

Just watched the end part again and the chicky babe only turns the lights on, she doesn't touch anything else. I might call the writers tomorrow and find out wht's going on because this is just crazy.

That's what I was thinking too. This episode introduced alot of concepts and actually allows you to think about alot of things and what could happen. I wonder if anything strange was causing Peter to have those dreams (like a power) or if it was something else?

One thing I found interesting too is the mind reading guy tried really hard to hear through the power-blocking dude and managed to hear something which indicates that perhaps there's only so much the power-blocking dude can block which in turn could be a problem with Syler because he may get too powerful or learn how to bypass power-blocking dude.

In any case, very cool show!

nope. because he was dreaming of flying before he met isaac. and in the "6 months ago" episode he dreamed of his brother in the accident
