ray martin is a tosser for many reasons, but not for that question, i found it a perfectly valid question and that not everyone "breaks down" and crys like the way she describe she did.

i thought the whole thing went quite well.

i didn't feel channel 9 tried to milk the crap out of it. they started with the interview and didn't drag it out with 'coming up next, the interview with terri irwin' before every ad break.

as for that question, i felt it was justified and not out of place - take it out of context though and it does sound stupid

My great great grandmother was a koori woman. She was a member of the Kamilaroi nation, which lived in northern NSW and into southern Queensland. Her name was Bertha, she married my white fella great great grandfather (on my mother's side) and she lived to a ripe old age. She tragically died in a cooking fire when her dress caught on fire. I don't know anything else about Bertha but I intend to try and find out more. I have mostly Irish ancestors, but I'm very proud of my Aboriginal connection.
