QUT Law plays UQ Law in Rugby Union this Friday night at Wests Rugby Club. All welcome. Come down and party like it's 1972. Short walk from regatta so u can carry on your evening there.

Where: Wests Bulldogs Rugby Club, Memorial Park, Sylvan Road, Toowong (Just down the road from the Regatta Hotel).

When: Friday the 22nd September kick off at 6:45pm.

What to expect: Very cheap refreshments at the game, Cheer Girls, Raffles and Give Aways.

Wear something red if u wanna be a champ and support QUT ; )

Eg you can get pints for 2pound at the 'cheap' places.. eg they're horrible places but going with a bunch of people and drinking too much makes it worth it.. generally you'll pay 2.80 or 3 for a pint.. which is prolly about the same as what you're paying... but pubs are old hat so im not in there much.. 1 pound cans are much more my style!! hahaha

The liqour amendment bill of 2005 prohibits the advertising of free drinks/multiple drinks and or discounted liquor state wide.

So its actually illegal for you to advertise your event in this way.

That is assuming the football ground your holding the event at has a liquor license.

I am confused considering any bar you go to here in australia, does charge for mixer :/. Its usually around 4.10 for the 30 ml nip of spirits and around 1.50 for the mixer (post mix). So i hate to ruin it for you but you have been paying for mixer here in australia as well . :-(.
