its a slow release program for msn junkies.

i say give a person a call (not a text) or write a letter.

So what was actually up?

I had a few people on MSN complaining about it being gay, but I seemed to have no problems?

Just random disconnections?

But sleepy there is no spell checker when you hand write a letter. And how does one use LOL on the phone and not sound like a complete f***tard.

Oh Wow those wise and witty choice of words cut incredibly deep, I think i spilt a cup of milk.

No problems with MSN Live here, plenty of people online that don't seem to be having any issues either.

You do realize if the MSN network is down its not gonna matter what client you use to try to connect with... right?

Goto C:/Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts <--hosts is a file
right click and open the "hosts" file in notepad or wordpad and add these two lines

65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net

Save it, and log into MSN

Just delete them in 2 days :D

I just switched to Miranda on reso's recommendation and it's pretty good. It is a little different to other IM programmes so it takes a little bit of getting used to but I quite like it. The default interface is perfect for me; absolutely minimal.

I've had a few problems with MSN where I can't send messages for some reason, but aside from that it works fine 99% of the time. It uses 1/5th the RAM of the real MSN (Live) client too.

MSN was f***ed last night on some connections, even Adium/aMSN, optus/adsl lines perhaps? In Adium/aMSN clicking connect via HTTP fixes it, (I know it was the connection cause I couldnt get on msn at 2 places, but I could if I vpn'd thru UQ)

I had probs with msn last night and im on iinet. If you were logged in before it happened you were fine, but if you logged out, you were stuffed.

I have no probs with using the plain jane msn live. Get ar eal pc if yours can't handle it!

I installed the latest icq the other week to see if my icq number was still there & if I could remember my password. I was shocked to see how homo looking the new icq has become. 99a ftw
