My gf4 Ti4200 is a tad old and s***e, anyone hear anything bad about these things? I'm just after something with a little more power to tide me over until I cbf getting an entirely new pc when the next generation of crap comes out and this generation's drops in price.

All I do is play cs so as long as it runs that I'm happy.

It's a lot of money when you consider that for around the same price you can have a PCIe 7600GS. Also considering that PCIe x1300s are 99 from MSY it puts you in an annoying place. I think you'd be better off with an AGP 6600GT for the same price.

What CPU are you currently using?

That's for physics calculation/acceleration.

whoop, I know that. What I'm saying is that with the fact that PCIe cards are cheaper, you might almost be better off just replacing the motherboard as well, getting a PCIe card, and (maybe) getting a better PCIe card later. Buying a AGP card right now seems a little silly.

I probably won't upgrade again for another 2 years.
