you should complain to the ACCC cause you didnt read the the form and therefore didnt know that it was U.S only.

who knows people have gotten away with worse...and this is microsoft the media just love to demonise them..

Of course, you can get a 1gb UMS-only usb pen from the ocau sponsor specials forum for ~45 bucks now. Having said that, 128mb is a lot of data in some situations (auditing pokies and jackpot signs i'm looking at you).

Hm, I seem to remember only finding out that the offer was only for US residents on the thanks page AFTER completing the questionaire. But then it only cost me a few minutes of my time. I hate dickholes who can't spare 5 minutes to do a survey every now and then.
