I was recommended Logitech Rumblepad 2 to play Madden 2005. I'm also interested in playing World Soccer Winning Eleven 9, another game that requires an X-Box style gamepad and there are probably lots of other games I would play on a gamepad too when I get one.
Please give me your opinions on the best all-round gamepad for playing games Am I better off buying from a shop or ebay? How much would I need to spend? |

if you already have an xbox controller i recommend an x-box to USB adaptor, it is cheaper and you can use a controller shape and layout you are familiar with (just make sure you do your research as some are not compatible with rumble features although i think this was only a problem with some of the earlier and cheaper adaptors)
I picked up 2 PS2 to USB adaptors for $25 each from Game Mania (now part of game traders/gamestop or whatever it is) and am using dance mats on them so i assume the same price applies to the x-box variety...i wouldnt recommend ebay as it will cost more (once you count in shipping) and many of them arent fully compatible with third party controllers |
