yes, i have watched a few f1 races live this season thru the online streaming s*** i posted about a few weeks back.

CCTV5 (chinas main sports channel) has the rights to F1 live for most races.. u can watch it live on that channel via www.wwitv.com just click sports, and u will see the stream link for CCTV5. there are other international stations that have the season tho cctv5 is the best - not in english tho... flick around and u will find it live with the ITV commentary.

Should be a good race tonight - Webber starts from P2 after schuey was demoted to the back of the grid for being a roadblock during qualifying.

Fkn LOL, stupid Schuey. About Webber, I wonder if the car was just suited to the tight circuit, they improved the Williams or they have the thing running on fumes?

Wonder if he pushed the engine too hard because Fisi didn't let him past as easily as the two in front (either intentionally or because of a lack of blue flags) and he was losing so much time.... and there goes kimi!

It's because Monaco is a circuit that favours mechanical grip and low-end engine power, and offers very little reward for aerodynamic efficiency. Even though all cars are running extremely high downforce configurations, the low speed nature of the circuit means that relatively it doesn't play that big a part.

This means it suits the FW28 very well since it is a good car with a powerful engine, but has poor aero (which is one of the reasons they were so slow at Barcelona last race, which rewards cars with good aero since it has lots of high speed corners).

Also Monaco seems to be Webber's best track, the next best being Malaysia or Australia I reckon. He got his first podium there in a Jag, and put a Minardi comfortably in the top ten as well at the track as well if I remember right.

Pity he got owned by the traffic / marshalls and then the unreliability :( My brothers and I had $20 on him at 13-1 for a podium. We also had another $15 on Kimi for a podium as well, as a backup. Grrr... >:/

Having seen the srategy play out we know the car had a decent amount of fuel on board. However given the amount of testing Williams have done recently, I wonder if the latest updates represent a solid step forward (the car was sliding back down the grid) or as you say the performance is track related. I guess we'll get a better reading on it next round.

Also they've been knocking revs out of the cosworths trying to stress tham less as the season has gone on. I wonder if they pushed the engine too far this race making the failure inevitable?

The FIA have access to all the team radio conversations between the driver and the crew. They couldn't and wouldn't have told him to do it. If it was a case where he did it on purpose, he did it under his own accord. The fact that he is the best driver that has ever been (maybe behind senna), leads me to believe that he wouldnt stoop to something so low to get p1. He still came 5th from 22nd, which backs up my statement.

I feel so sorry for Webber, everyone thinks hes overrated, but please, getting p3 in qualifying means hes a good driver, in a s*** car :/

Pitty schumacher is a has been casa, that's why he would stoop to something so low. Too over the hill to compete with the younger drivers.

Actually he did much worse when he was younger, that's why some people are jumping up and down over it. They don't see it as out of character at all.

I've got a pretty good clip of his 'mistake'... several camera angles plus the full onboard cam of it. After watching it, it's very hard to defend him at all. It looked TOTALLY intentional.

But despite that, he definetely drove unbelievably the whole race. He can certainly still cut it Boba. If he'd been near the front of the grid, letalone pole, he would have almost certainly won, and far more convincingly than Alonso did.

Also, watch this clip of Fisi taking advantage of Coulthard. Just throws his car down the inside. Ballsy.

Especially since team orders were banned, the teams have learnt to say things without actually saying things if you know what I mean.

Apparently from Autosport (via someone else)
One of the race stewards at the centre of the Michael Schumacher qualifying controversy in Monaco has admitted that it was a 'painful decision' to punish the seven-time world champion, but claimed there was no choice after finding out that Schumacher had lost control of his car at just 16km/h.
Joaquin Verdegay, who is vice-president of the Spanish motorsport federation and one of the three stewards on duty last weekend, has revealed that all the evidence pointed towards Schumacher having acted deliberately in stopping his car.
He claims that the speed at which Schumacher went off, allied to the sequence of events that led to the car stalling, all pointed to the fact that the Ferrari driver had tried to deliberately block his rivals by leaving his car on the track.
...
"We don't know if the entire manoeuvre was deliberate, but in that spot he had certainly not done anything like it throughout the weekend: he braked over 50% more heavily than on the other laps.
"Then he performed some absolutely unnecessary and pathetic counter-steering, and that lasted five metres, until there was no more chances of going through the turn normally.
"He lost control of the car while travelling at 16km/h! That's something completely unjustifiable. And the engine shut off because he wanted it to, by losing enough time before hitting the clutch. And the excuse that he did not engage reverse because there was traffic doesn't make sense."

I dont think his comments hold much weight, considering his last name has 'gay' in it.
But yeah I know its controversial at most, but there still could of been driver error involved; which they completely ruled out.

But then again, he was attempting another shot wasnt he? His first sector time was even faster then! But I guess, the drivers dont have access to that information on track do they?

Lol gay!

Yeah, his lap was faster again which they can see on the steering wheel readout. However I'm not sure how much time they would be able to take to look at that if they're right on the edge.

here's a full onboard lap with Raikkonen, Alonso in front obviously.

I could post the onboard view of Michael's car when he cheated if anyone wants...
