it would have been more believable if they had said that dnf was switching to a new engine (say the doom5 engine or something like that!) rather than coming out which is totally unbelievable!

i think everyone has given up hope that DNF will ever come out. no game takes 8 years to finish. however, if by some reason DNF does come out i expect it will will be the most pirated game in the last 5 - 10 years.

i know that most of you believe that acronyms need to be pronouncable as a single word to be considered acronyms. thats fine if you are an american or choose to speak the american bastardisation of english. in the concise oxford an acronym is a word formed with the first(few) letter(s) of other words. how that word is pronounced is irrelevant. to me 'FBI' is a word regardless of the pronunciation... it's an acronym & acronyms are words! :D

there is no word called 'initialism' (from typo's wikipedia link) in the concise oxford or the macquarie dictionary so as australian's it's not a real word at all. :D
