Ok guys I've got an Abit NFS7-S and I've Just notice that the -5V rail Droops to -3V at times usually when it get hot this causes the f***en thing to beep. Anyway it this really a problem? It happened with my old PSU as well as my new one which are both Antec.

turn off the monitoring. negative rail oddities don't really matter anymore.

That's what I'd heard that -5V rail wasn't that important. Just checking though :)

I put a multimeter on my voltages once, they were totally different from that reported by the mobo so from that time onward I ignored anything the stupid motherboard monitoring programs had to say on the matter.

Agreed. My motherboard monitoring was reporting supposed drops in voltage on +12v. Hooked up a multimeter, did a few tests, and found everything to be rock solid [no fluctuations at all].

Makes you wonder how accurate the temperature readings are, too.
