Have you tried using Greylisting? My ISP has it and I found it reduced the spam by about 98% for my home account. Coupled that with SpamAssisant you should get rid of most of the spams.

Naturally this might not be possible in your case but check it out. It's Open Source so.

Use it. Love it. Spread it.

Works well with OE (or just about any other mail client) and even better with Outlook with a good plugin.

I recently reset my SpamBayes databases because they were getting a bit old and crusty - when I started using it I didn't really understand how it worked so I wanted to start afresh about 2 months ago. Here are my stats during this time:

SpamBayes has processed 27504 messages - 16792 (61%) good, 9683 (35%) spam and 1029 (3%) unsure.

1069 messages were manually classified as good (0 were false positives).

1208 messages were manually classified as spam (65 were false negatives).

48 unsure messages were manually identified as good, and 876 as spam.

Without SpamBayes my Inbox would be utterly, utterly useless.

Depending on size of your work... we use SurfControl Web and Email filters.
