Hey guys! Just a heads up for my mate. He's recently done a rock/(bit) punk song. And has placed it on mp3.com.au So check it out here http://www.mp3.com.au/track.asp?id=125659 Feedback would be great. Cheers! |

something i don't like about the chorus.. i like the beat music.. and most of it's pretty alright except the first bit seems he's trying to rhyme a bit to hard.. it sounds like a song from a personal experience from him which is great, i write songs like that all the time, but i think where i go wrong and maybe he has here as well is he hasn't white lied enough.. added a little something more in to make it better.. like forgetting your surname.. seriously i don't remember half the girls surnames i've been with.. so maybe just a little tweak here and there and it'd be better..
but.. that being said im not professional song writer/critic.. props to him for just producing a song and putting it up there.. .. i really need to learn my gee-tar |

Sounds like a song you'd hear in a teen movie. The montage part where the whole gang gets together before the end when they're preparing something.

huge fake accent Something about the aussie accent that never sounds good in songs with a tempo like this one. I think i would sounds 100 times better if it was produced in a professional audio studio. This was done in some dudes house. As for the first chorus, yeah could be cahnged abit. But hey, it's his song that's they way he likes it. But yeah could be better with some professional input. Which artist doesn't get producers etc.. to help refine songs? |

i dont mean to sound rude but... it kinda sucks... thats just my opinion and don't let it bring u down.
reasons why i think so: drumming is very very very bland and ordinary guitar is too... repeatitive. add something different to it (some fast picking perhaps). add a bass (if theres one in there... its not doing its job) vocals i know most bands don't have too much to work with in the department but you sound a bit too soft trying to song this. keep in mind i myself write music and have my own taste that i like, which i know some others do not like. i know it can be a little disheartening to hear negative feedback but keep at it. |

i dont mean to sound rude but... it kinda sucks... thats just my opinion and don't let it bring u down. Cool. Yeah well as i said he recorded it at some guys house. He did the vocals himself. The only thing he didn't do was drums which he paid some guy to play. But as i've said the song could be better with some professional input music and lyrics wise. But after all that. If you don't like it you don't like it. Just as well people have different tastes in music! |
