Go to Spain, then you can travel Europe! I'm hopefully studying abroad in Denmark sem 1 next year. Put in my application today :)

Go to the study abroad room and have a chat to whoever's there, they could probably help you out too.

Yeah, I'm at UQ

I picked subjects from the foreign uni's website that sorta matched what I'd be doing here. I showed these subjects to ITEE's 2nd year academic advisor who then gave me a few other people to talk to. Chose equiv #8 units and got them signed off by the school (ITEE). Handed that into the faculty (EPSA) and now they're processing/approving it.

It's a bit complicated but your academic advisor should be pretty helpful with subject selection. Print off subjects that interest you and are offered that semester - your academic advisor should be able to give you advise from here.

Apparently they aren't processing applications for next year until after the deadline (end of may), such a big wait :\ Apart from applying for faculty scholarships I don't think I have to do anything else until I get accepted.

I hope to f*** I get a scholarship, kinda banking on it :P Soooo much travel to do

I spent about 8 weeks in Mexico after doing an exchange to Vancouver (and meeting a f***load of mexicans who were also on exchange)

Chile is meant to be fantastic but in terms of culture shocks you're probably going to find it harder than Mexico. I'm guessing the Uni in Mexico is Tec de Monterrey? If you have any questions I've seen pretty much every major city in Mexico and visited 3 of the Tec campuses while staying with friends so I might be able to help.

You can't really beat Vancouver in terms of exchange experience, fantastic city, great skiing (Whichever semester you go you'll either get the beginning or the endof the season) and if you go to UBC then there exchange program is huge (300 people each semester).

$1.50 coronas? i was in cali for a few weeks last year and the price of coronas was one of the things that bummed me out the most. every bar i went to they were $4-5 US, this was at gigs and clubs though. it's not like they didn't steal all that land from mexico anyway, and then they have the nerve to call coronas an "imported beer" and charge thru the roof for them..

but um yeh, id vote chile ahead of mexico, the land is muy similar, but something about chile and chileans is a lot more amazing.

Last time I went to San Fran a slab of Coronas was about US$20, but at the time the exchange rate wasn't quite as good. I didn't drink Coronas though cause they have massive bottles of Smirnoff double blacks!!! Like 1 litre bottles for $5 or something. Boy was I drunk most of that trip.
