Hey guys, just hoping you could keep an eye out for a car stolen from Morningside overnight. A guy broke into my grandparent's house, threatened them and then took the keys to the garage and car, not before knocking my nana to the ground on his way out.

The cops have been alerted and of course they have insurance, but they'd rather just get their car back. The car was stolen from Worden St in Morningside, and it is a Silver, VT Commodore Executive, license plate 273-EOB. If you guys spot this car anywhere, please send a text to 0411 390 035.

The help is greatly appreciated guys.

We'll it can't be the same 2 clowns that took my VT as I would imagine they would heve been refused bail and the next hearing is on the 20th of Feb. Morningside is a pretty bad area tho. I have a customer that lives there and he has tighter security than a prison.

There are some low c***s in this world but good luck to you with getting your car back.

I reckon you'll get it back but like mine it will be pretty f***ed.

By the way. Even if they get the car back it will still be an insurance write off. a) it costs way too much to replace the locks/computer/remote entry and b) you never know what damage they have done to it that you can't see.

I live in Bulimba/bulimba (next suburb over) and cant remember the last time I have had any trouble, I guess its just luck.

don't hold your breath. a friend's brother got arrested for armed robery and was out on bail

yeah but these guys robbed over 100 houses. not just 1 place.

Story ended up pretty sad actually.
I even gave the phone numbers of all the calls made from my wifes phone (some of which were made after the guys got locked up). Cops don't give a f***. All they keep saying is "what are you crying about, you got ur car back.

They don't care that 10k of stuff is missing and 3k damage to the car.
I had a lot of bad luck just getting my car back.

Got a parking ticket in Ipswich cause I didn't know their parking meters they have there.

Got a speeding ticket on my way out to pick up the car. (I nearly took a swing at a cop cause he was pissing me off)

Got f***ed over by a locksmith, towing company and a car yard.

Got f***ed over by the bank as they didn't send replacement cards

Internet got cut off cause CC was cancelled.

Got f***ed over by the real estate agent (they said it was our fault we got robbed)

The good news is I went and bought a new head unit for my car, cleaned the car from top to bottom and I have ordered all the interior stuff to get it back the way I had it.

I also scored a big customer this week which alone will help pay this s*** off.

All in all things are looking up!

Car has been found...wrapped around a power pole in Camp Hill. Writeoff, which sucks cause I was lining up to buy the car. Would've been awesome, VT in perfect condition with 80,000km on it - what a waste.

Not sure if they caught the guys involved or if they legged it from the scene of the accident. Will update as it comes to light

I live 1 min walk to morningside. My dads truck has been broken into once in the 17+ years of living here.

If my car was stolen, id hope it was either

i also live in morningside and have lived here for around 16 years. We haven't once had any bit of trouble with our houses or cars.
