The one from the 2nd post has a better lights set up than the original. I saw the original for the first time the other day. Great show.

f*** yeah that is awesome. I wish that I lived on one of those streets that had christman light wars and tried to out do each other. I would try and pwn them all so bad.

All these ripoffs of the original suck, the lights are too cluttered for it to really look like it flows properly.
That was the brilliance of the original, it was spectacular but simplistic and each note stood out for each light (or small bunch of) that lit up. These ones have a whole s***load of lights light up for each beat/frequency :/ Although in the first post, thre is one spot where the lights on the tree go around in a clockwise fashion that looks really cool, really disliked the rest of their lightshow though :( last edited by Loki at 00:26:18 20/Dec/05 |

showed dad all 3 and he loves the melbourne one because of all the different coloured lights which the original lacked.

that's it, I'm doing my own xmas lights to nikki webster singing christmas carols.
edit: since it's all the same song, does that suggest there's some program out there that controls the lights to that tune? I'm trying to figure out how the hell they'd make specific lights light up for different instruments. I was thinking it went off frequencies of the sounds but now I'm not so sure. last edited by whoop at 00:40:11 20/Dec/05 |
