Thought I'd waste your time again with a new movie post.

I've seen all of these except Kung Fu Hustle and can recommend them all. Although one thing that's weird is with the cover of Layer Cake, some random newspaper guy said it was "hilarious" and some other big word I didn't understand. Now, I didn't find any of if funny at all. It's in similar vain as Snatch I guess, but without the funny stuff. It's strictly one of those "clever" English gansta type movies that are extremely predictable. It's still a good watch though.

Also down the bottom is an older title but new to DVD - Comfort Of Strangers. Let me just say this movie is f***ing awesome. Set in Venice and Christopher Walken and Helen Mirren play two evil motherf***ers who befriend a newly wed couple and slowly f*** with their minds and in the end f*** them up completely. I think it came out in the early 90's and if you haven't seen it before I can definately recommend it.

The Perfect Man
In The Perfect Man, teenager Holly Hamilton (Hilary Duff) is tired of moving every time her single mum Jean (Heather Locklear) has another personal meltdown involving yet another second-rate guy. To distract her mother from her latest bad choice, Holly conceives the perfect plan for the perfect man...an imaginary secret admirer who will romance Jean and boost her shaky self-esteem. When the virtual relationship takes off, Holly finds herself having to produce the suitor, borrowing her friend's charming and handsome Uncle Ben (Chris Noth) as the face behind the emails, notes and gifts.

Holly must resort to increasingly desperate measures to keep the ruse alive and protect her mum's newfound happiness.

Kung Fu Hustle
Amid the chaos of pre-revolutionary China, small time thief, Sing, aspires to be one of the sophisticated and ruthless Axe Gang whose underworld activities overshadow the city. Stumbling across a crowded apartment complex aptly known as “Pig Sty Alley”, Sing attempts to extort money from one of the locals, but the neighbours are not what they appear.

Sing’s comical attempts at intimidation inadvertently attract the Axe Gang into the fray, setting off a chain of events that brings the two disparate worlds face-to-face.

As the inhabitants of the Pig Sty fight for their lives, the ensuing clash of kung fu titans unearths some legendary martial arts masters. Sing, despite his futile attempts, lacks the soul of a killer and must face his own mortality in order to discover the true nature of a kung fu master.

Skeleton Key
Caroline (Hudson), a live-in nurse, is hired to care for an elderly woman's ailing husband in their home - a foreboding and decrepit Gothic mansion in the marshy backwoods just outside of New Orleans. Intrigued by the enigmatic couple and the dark and mysterious surroundings, Caroline begins to explore the old mansion. Armed with a skeleton key that unlocks every door, she discovers a hidden attic room that holds a deadly and terrifying secret. Caroline soon discovers that the mansion is haunted by a pair of century old spirits. The spirits are evil and are manipulating the living to fit their desires, and Caroline herself is at the centre of one of their sinister schemes.

Unleashed
Martial-arts superstar Jet Li delivers a break-out performance in the gripping, action-packed story about a man raised from childhood by a ruthless crime boss (Academy Award nominee Bob Hoskins) who becomes a violent killing machine.

When a blind piano tuner (Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman) takes him in, Danny (Li) tries to start a new life, but his brutal past follows him, forcing him to fight back.

Featuring breathtaking fight choreography by Yuen Wo Ping (The Matrix and Kill Bill: Vols. 1 & 2).

Layer Cake
Planning to retire and begin a new life, Mr. X (Daniel Craig, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider), a successful West End drug dealer, has been asked for one last favor: to negotiate the sale of one million hits of Ecstasy.

Unfortunately for Mr. X, the pills were stolen from a Serbian drug lord who'll cut off his head if he sells them. And with a London crime czar (Michael Gambon, Open Range & The Insider) promising to retire him permanently if he doesn't, Mr. X may be rightfully concerned about his future. Nothing worth losing his head over.

The Comfort Of Strangers
Paul Schrader directs this stylish adaptation of the Ian McEwan novel scripted by Harold Pinter. Mary (Natasha Richardson) and Colin (Rupert Everett) first fell in love on a romantic holiday in Venice. Now, four years later, they have returned to rekindle their romance and determine where their relationship is heading.

What they don't know is why an English-speaking Venetian (Christopher Walken) is following them, watching them and taking pictures. Soon they learn they are involved in a bizarre tale of sex, voyeurism, deception and passion...

Dude I thought unleashed was the most boring movie I have seen for ages. If it wasn't for Domino, I would say wosrt movie I have seen this year. Domino was by the worst film since street fighter or man on fire.

Sorry dude but man on fire made me wish he was on fire. Tony Scott should never be aloud to make a film again.
