found a few albums that i havent backed up and was wondering whats some good software to use to rip them to mp3, something nice and simple.

i google but there are too many options and id like some forum recommendations

windows media player lets you do it.

pretty much eh. you have to go into the options in MP and tell it to rip 192kb mp3s instead of the default wma files, but that's fine for me.


most music you'll find on cd is poorly engineered to begin with - it's waste of time and effort making a perfect rip unless brainless 'high-end' techno is your thing.
