Does anyone know where I can get soundcard drivers, more specifically CMedia sound drivers apart from the Cmedia web site?

I got a SB LIVE! card to replace the CMedia, opened up me comp to find that the Cmedia sound card was part of the motherboard... s*** I was about to get the tin snips to get rid of the bastard...

I had a problem using Roger wilco with the Cmedia drivers, and this is where it helped me:

my suggestion is, simply, get a new soundcard. The cmedia ones are crap, only something like one channel or sumthin ffs...

Cmedia..... that was the brand of my old integrated sound card. It was called a SoundPro......hmm..... yes.

I found their site eventually, a dodgy geos***ies-esque page, didn't have much there.

Try driverguide.com or reactorcritical.com
