Make sure we keep on top of this and be aware of ticket release dates, cos apparently last year they sold out in record time.

keep in mind strex, its mainly a rock festival, they usually just have one or two big name electronic acts... so you might get Daft Punk or Fatboy Slim, but I doubt you'll get all 5.

Ever since you mentioned When It Falls, I've been loving Zero7. They would be awesome.

Personally, I would like to see Garbage. However I highly doubt they'll be coming out as they'll probably be doing a US promo for Bleed Like Me. Ben Folds (or even Ben Lee) would also be nice.

They just released a new album with the band being renamed Shihad, nfi why, because originally they changed it due to it being similar to Jihad.

I dont know.

They changed it back, too many people/fans were unhappy about, and they felt that they did it for the wrong reasons.

I'll be going to this, should be awesome! Luckily for me I've got a mate that lives at Byron, so no paying for accomo for me!!

Sweeet, this is gonna be my first splender so im expecting grand things! Looks like we are camping with the plebs at this stage, should have a pretty good atmosphere tho i reckon!

The camp sites are alright as long as it doesn't rain. Staying with my grandparents at Mullumbimby for this again.

Reso:- Do you know how strick are they on ppl suckin down tins in the camp area? it says no alcahol..

I'm fairly sure walking past all the sites last year I saw a few bottle of spirits.

All I know for sure is don't bother trying to take any inside the actual grounds. Their bag searches aren't just a quick look at the top.

Yeah i kinda gathered that much, hope the line ups for drinks and toilets arnt as bad as big day. Every year i go its just absolute mayhem..

I'll be going again this year. Been to the last 3, it's always a great time.

In regards to camping - f*** that. That toilet/shower block in the campsite is rank by the first night, and from all reports usually knee high in water. I have a few mates who went last year and opted against showering the whole time because it was so filthy.

We stay in a beach house on belongil beach. It sleeps so many people in comfort and is so cheap so it's never really a tough decision.

Line up is looking good. Can't wait for interpol.

Spook:- Im sure the local acts will be upto a fairly high standard. The local scene is pretty rampid down there by all accounts so lets hope we can have a nice dose of psy trance.
