Apparently you can buy car kits which give you plans and everything you need to build say a ferrari car. All that you have to do is customize the interior engine all that sort of s***...

True???

Yeah, you can buy kit cars for Lotus, Maserati, GT40s etc any old, normally coupe/convertible.

Cobras, Caterham super 7s, spyders and buggys are all pretty popular.

There was this show on discovery channel, this guy bought a kit car and built it. Was called "A racing car is born". He also did it with a kit plane.

I believe they also come with detailed instructions on what chassis/brakes/suspension etc to use.

Also, the fact that they are 1/25th scale makes them pretty useless for normal everyday driving.

No i'm talking about real scale replica type kits...

We own a fabricating company involving structural and pressure pip welding... So i have access to everything i need for free!

I even helped a guy a little bit on one in the last shop we leased out. He was making a lamborghini or somes***... looked awesome... fibreglass body...

All he had to do was get the engine and i think he decided on a 350 Ford engine or something like that...
