Well I thought Adobe Premier Pro would be good but it keeps losing focus if i minimize it and it keeps getting errors, now ive switched oved to powerdirector pro 2.55 its a little better but still not too good I think, what do you reccomend?

I haven't had any problems capturing using Premiere, maybe you're just doing it wrong :P Admitedly, I haven't done a LOT of capturing with it, but what I have done, I've had no problems with.

Premiere is one of those programs though where theres a lot of wrong ways to do things, and a lot of pitfalls that are easy to fall into. I wouldn't even bother using it if we hadn't been taught how to in the degree I'm doing atm. Having someone take you through it and point out the bits to avoid and the best way to do stuff helps a s***load, and now I'm pretty comfortable with using it.

I did natslovR, it crashed half way through capturing my dv camcorder.

premiere is gayhomo if you lose window focus for any reason, it stops capturing.

just try vegas, it has a demo but u can't save s*** with the demo version. Still, it'll give you an idea if it's what you want, then you can go purchase it *cough*
