Just got home from seeing Triple J's Adam & Wil on their "The Last Time" tour. They were fantastic! Funnier than I could have hoped! :D

Sux that they're leaving Triple J (30 shows to go!) but Wil said he will be back for another tour next year and I will definitely be there for that. :D

Just thought I'd share all that with you all. :P

The whole show was cool - the idea behind it was to relive some of the highlights of their 5 years on Triple J, so they had cards for you to write questions on for them to answer during the show.

Except someone asked Adam what colour underwear he was wearing.... he showed us - NONE!! (Thankfully I missed it cos there was a chick's head in the way!)

But they were in fine form - and not having restrictions on language and content meant they could tell us the whole story behind certain things. From Wil's "Rex Hunt Uncut" slip-up, to Adam's inadvertent reference to fingering an 80-year-old woman (which they both took to the extreme and beyond tonight), to Wil's antics with Nicole Kidman.

And apparently they both went to Family last night, so all through the show Wil (who was all croaky and looked like he hadn't stopped going at it since the night before) kept saying "Your city f***ing broke me". :D

That was the last question Adam answered last night "Why are you leaving?" Basically they've had a great time on Triple J and wanted to leave on a high note.

They said on their last show (6 weeks time) they'll be announcing their replacements for next year. Better be someone f***ing awesome....

all the good people that have left have gone onto having there own shows. Will has the glass house, merrick and rosso have their show, paul and mickey have that debateing show that used to be on... hmm what was it called umm :S

Bring Back "Jason and the Doctor" they were piss funny and played some good Music IMHO....Ruhcastle and taylor are moving to the morning slot so i hear ????..

haha Jason and the Doctor are great. Who would've thought that half of Frenzal Rhomb would make such a funny radio duo. I hope they are back on the air soon!

Chris and Craig will go morning slot, J and the Doctor afternoon. Or reverse. I think. So there.

It's a shame they are finishing up... Always enjoyed listening to them.

He is getting married to a woman named Mel (who doesn't work for Triple J as far as a I know...) and having a baby in 3 months.

Jay and Lindsay from Frenzal Rhomb are taking over the breakfast show from next year.

The Cops, Gerling and Frenzal all played (Frenzal playing The World's Most f***edest c*** or something to that effect, plus a version of Never Had So Much Fun with Shannon from Cockatoo).

All the regulars - Dools, Stink, Mary from Junee, etc were all on.

Would have been awesome to be there. Sounded great.

J and the Doctor are pretty cool, they'll be adequate replacements.

Who where those guys who used to do a weekend afternoon show (I think Sunday afternoon) - it was really politically based and f***ing hilarious?

That was the alter egos of Tom and Subby - Stirling Addison and Tom Tomlinson (or something like that). It was a pretty well despised show. I don't think the demographic of triple j listeners took too well to a politically-based show on their Sunday afternoons.
