Hey all, thought I'd just mentioned that I just played through the thief: deadly shadows demo, and appart from the clunky movement, it was pretty good fun.

I played it a couple of days ago and thought it was very cool, i've never played any other of the thief series though.

yeah im a big thief fan, its cool but the movement is very clunky and s***house, and the lack of the rope arrow is also a let down, theres a few other noticeble flaws as well, they definately could of done better.

it's been given the thumbs up

we knew the levels would be broken up to accomodate the limitations of the current consoles this title was intended for (sif XBox users will appreciate a pc game), and for what it's worth - Eidos have done it well. Hell - they could've done a game with 1/4 the graphic intensity and it still would've outplayed T1 and T2...

I was expecting some not to dis-similar to the bastardisation that was Quake2 on the Playstation 1 !

ya know - as odd as it'll sound here on Qgl these days...

I'm really looking forward to playing some missions created by Theif fans.

that's right boys and girls - you can use your computer to make your own computer game levels!
